Wonderful Water - 2025

Description :

Learn the importance of water conservation and how plants adapt to changing environments.

Through a playful exploration of the Melbourne Gardens, children will be introduced to the connections between water and living things and how plants can survive in hot and dry climates. During their exploration they will discover wetlands, floating leaves and help water plants in the garden.

Students will

  • Discuss what plants need to grow

  • Talk about how to save water  

  • Plant an indigenous seedling

  • Go on a discovery walk
