Food Forest - 2025

Description :

Students are immersed in a unique gardening experience and learn about the connections between plants and food.

Children will learn what is involved in growing and looking after plants as they partake in hands-on activities in the Kitchen Garden such as planting and harvesting. They will engage their senses as they explore the Gardens.

Students will

  • Investigate seasonal food plants

  • Discuss what plants need to grow

  • Plant their own vegetable seeds

  • Go on a discovery walk
